Quick Start

  1. Tap + Add Subscription and fill in the name, cost, and renewal date — everything else is optional.
  2. Check the Dashboard for your totals, upcoming renewals, and Smart Insights.
  3. Set your home currency and add your own categories or payment methods in Settings.
  4. Export a backup from Settings regularly — see "How do I back up my data?" below.

FAQ

How do I back up my data?

Go to Settings → Backup & Data → Export Backup. This downloads a .json file with everything in it. Save it somewhere safe — a cloud drive folder is ideal. To restore it (or move to a new device), use Import Backup and select that file.

Is my data private?

Yes — nothing you enter ever leaves your device. There's no account, no server, and no tracking. Your data lives only in this browser's local storage.

Does this work offline?

Yes, fully. You only need a connection the first time a page loads, to fetch the fonts and charting library.

What happens if I clear my browser data?

Anything you haven't backed up will be lost — this is exactly what Export Backup protects against. It's worth doing regularly, and the app will remind you if it's been a while.

Do exchange rates update automatically?

No — since everything works offline with no server to fetch live rates, they're manually set and fully editable in Settings. Update them occasionally to keep conversions accurate.

Can I use this on my phone?

Yes — the app is fully mobile-responsive. Save the file to your phone, or email it to yourself and open the attachment.
